I'm always on the lookout for well-made explainer videos that I can send friends and family to build awareness on important topics. Obviously, all of the UN's sustainable development goals fall in that category. But I think this goal (Life on Land) is one of the most difficult to get across. It's easy to explain why we need to alleviate global poverty or advocate for gender equality. But 'life on land' is a bit broad and generic. So, I was thrilled when I came across this explainer video from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Prof Tracey Rogers, professor of ecology at the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, goes through the specifics of this goal and sums up how we're doing on it. Plus, it was just put out last year so it's still timely. Give it a watch and a share.
